Just a couple that have caught my eye lately:
1) Baby Cheapskate
I just barely discovered http://www.babycheapskate.blogspot.com
She gives the head's up on great baby deals. One of the coolest posts gives links so that you can go to Amazon.com and see everything baby that is on sale 75% or more. Also, not of use to me personally, but would be good for all you parents out there who have babes in diapers....that aren't washable and reusable ;) .... she gives weekly updates on the best price around for diapers and just how good of a price it is.
2) Kizoodle
http://www.kizoodle.com
This is a unique buy/sell gently used baby/kids stuff website, and I think it's so cool! Got some things you're just not using? Instead of using cash or even paypal, you can sell them here and accumulate "Kiz points" that you then can spend on other stuff in the "Kiz store" that you need or want. So far I have "sold" three items, and everything has gone smoothly. Haven't "bought" anything yet, but the nice thing about not actually using money is that if you use your points to buy an item and it never arrives, the manager of the site will give the points back to you. So no worries, basically. You do pay actual money when you ship an item, but then get reimbursed in points for that, as well as the value you placed on the item, as well as an extra point just for listing an item somebody wanted. It's all free (signing up and being a member and all). You automatically get 5 points (about a $5 value) when you register on the site, which you can use once you have listed 3 items for sale. Oh, and if you're interested in this, use my referral code YC81MS and you can get an extra 2 points on top of that 5! (When you sign up for the Kiz store, after registering). And I in turn will get 1 point when you "sell" something. (Not taking away from what you receive.) And you can refer your other friends, too, and get extra points that way, too. Go check it out. They also have forums and lists of local playgroups, but I haven't looked into those yet. Oh, and if you use my referral code, thanks in advance! :)
Do any of you have favorite baby/kids/parenting sites you'd like to share? Do tell.
