This post is long over due for those wondering about the new camping dessert craze, woof 'ums.First, you take the Pillsbury biscuit. Then you take the woof 'um stick (created by taking a wooden doll head found at Michael's or any other craft store and sticking on a welding rod). Next take the biscuit and wrap it about halfway up the doll head to form a "bowl" shape. Toast it over hot coals until golden brown.
Fill with your choice of pudding, fruit, and whipped cream.
Take a big ole bite!
And make a goofy face!
The morning after woof 'um hangover characterized by the droopy eyes and dried pudding around the mouth.
PS-Make sure that you soak the doll head in some cooking oil the night before if you want to be able to peel the biscuit off when you're done.

The doll head thing sounds a little gory.
So, I was wondering where you were going with sticking a doll head into fire (imagining my girls reaction) but it sounds great. I am definately going to remember Woof 'ums for our next camping trip.
Yeah, I was thinking Aaron should have just called it a wooden ball from the craft store. But when we found out it was meant to be a doll head, we got a good kick out of it, especially because Trey thought that was so funny. Hmmm, maybe a bad sign....

What a cool idea-maybe this will camping will help inspire us to go camping more often. You guys are so good at that. Julie, you much be getting close to your due date-it seems like you told us you were pregnant ages ago. We can't wait to see pictures when the big day arrives!
