We had fish for breakfast Saturday morning, and it was sooooo good. The river was so high from the snow melt that fly-fishing would've been pointless. We hiked up and down the banks to find small pools along rocks and logs. We put worms on the hooks and just dropped them in. I caught 4, and kept two. Dad caught one. We opened their bellies to see what they'd been eating, and they were chuck full of only worms! The river must be pulling off the bank, and with it come the worms. The fish were having a feast! Too bad for them that some of the worms had hooks in them! They sure made for a good breakfast!
